Bhubaneswar: A woman software engineer residing at Sailashree Vihar area here ended her life allegedly by suicide on Friday.
The deceased identified as Sweta Utkal Kumari was a native of Bhadrak and working at a reputed IT firm in the city.
Chandrasekharpur police retrieved the body of Sweta today morning and sent it for autopsy to Capital Hospital.
A case has been registered and a probe was launched to ascertain the cause behind this extreme step.
