Jharsuguda: A woman and her son were grievously hurt after they were attacked by a wild boar at Sapada village under Jharsuguda forest range on Wednesday.
Both have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital here and are undergoing treatment.
According to reports, Biranchi Bariha was chopping wood in his garden in Sapada village when a wild boar emerged and attacked him. Biranchi’s mother Kshirabati Bariha rushed to drive the wild boar away, but the animal attacked her as well.
Locals rushed the mother and son to the district headquarters hospital as their condition was serious.
