Dhenkanal: Police have seized the body of a 28-year-old woman from a forested area near Bam village under Parjang police limits in Dhenkanal district today.
The deceased has been identified as Sombari Goya, wife of one Mahendra Goya of Taratpal Sahi of Bam village.
According to reports, today afternoon family members of Sombari reported at Parjang police station that the latter’s body was found lying in a forest near the village. Based on circumstantial evidence police suspect it to be a case of murder. The scientific team of the police has reached the spot and is conducting an investigation.
The deceased who was twice married earlier was having a strained relationship with her husband Mahendra Goya over the last few days.
Therefore, Sombari’s family members suspect that she could have been brutally murdered by her third husband-Mahendra.
