Malkangiri: The charred body of a woman was recovered from the Malikeswari jungle in Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Wednesday, police said.
According to reports, the matter came to light after locals spotted the body emanating a foul smell and informed the police. A team of police and forensic experts rushed to the spot, sent the body for postmortem and started an investigation.
The identity of the victim could not be ascertained so far and it is believed that the woman dies around 4-five days back.
