Bargarh: At Masterpada village in the town today, a woman attempted suicide by consuming poison with her her daughter and son.
According to authorities, the woman, identified as Kumudini Sahu, her son Banshidhar Sahu, and daughter Subarna Sahu made suicide attempts.
Although the precise cause of their attempt at suicide is unknown, it is reported that the three was under a great deal of stress as a result of the loss of the family patriarch, according to the sources.
The sources also stated that Arjun Sahu, Kumudini’s spouse, had passed suddenly on September 6.
The Kumudini, her son, and her daughter were brought to the Sohela Community Health Center for treatment by locals. Later, as Banshidhar’s condition worsened, he was sent to the Bargarh district headquarters hospital (DHH).
However, he is rumored to have passed away while receiving treatment at the DHH. The Sohela police have started an investigation into the case.
