Puri: Newly appointed Works Secretary Vir Vikram Yadav today visited Puri and had darshan of Lord Jagannath at Shree Mandir.
Yadav inspected the progress of the Rs 331 crore Shree Mandir Parikrama project undertaken by the Works Department.
During the review of the project, Puri Collector Samarth Verma and officials of OBCC and Tata Projects Ltd were present.
This was Yadav’s first visit to Puri after assuming charge as Works Secretary. His visit bears significance since a controversy has erupted over the project.
