Bhubaneswar: Operation Vijay is a Saga of Courage, Valour and Sacrifice of the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. The date 26th July 1999 will be remembered for the determination, daring leadership and raw courage of our Soldiers.
The Kargil War continued for approximately 60 days which ended on 26 July. To remember our war Heroes who never came back home while defending the honour of our Motherland, a wreath-laying ceremony was organized at war memorial of 120 Inf Bn TA in Bhubaneswar
A two-minute silence was observed and wreaths were laid on behalf of Stn Cdr, Cdr COSA, GOC MB Area and GOC in C Central Command.
