Jharsuguda: A minor girl aged about six years died allegedly due to administration of a wrong injection here on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Tulasi Mahanada suffered with a few boils on her forehead. Tulasi’s mother, Pinki had taken the girl to a private clinic at Gandhi Chowk where she was administered an injection, father of the deceased child said.
“The girl fell unconscious after the injection was administered following which she was rushed to the Central Hospital at Mondlia in Brajarajnagar. From there she was rushed to a hospital in Jharsuguda where the doctor confirmed that she would not survive. My daughter could not survive and we need to know what led to her death,” her father Desha Mahanandia said.
