Bhubaneswar: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and veteran BJP leader Yogi Adityanath on Thursday sought votes for party candidates in Kendrapara and Puri parliamentary constituencies.

Addressing two public meetings – at Banapur under Puri Lok Sabha segment and Mahanga under Kendrapara parliamentary seat, Yogi urged the voters to bring a double-engine government in Odisha.

He said that the BJP government can preserve the Odia Asmita in the State. The firebrand saffron leader said that Uttar Pradesh government is taking stringent action against mafia through the ‘bulldozer action’. Similar kind of action is required in Odisha against any wrongdoings, he added.

Yogi also highlighted the Ayushman Bharat Yojana under which 60 crore people from across the country benefitted. He focussed the need of the scheme in the State.

The UP CM also mentioned various achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government in the Centre during the last 10 years.

The roadways, waterways, rail and educational infrastructure have improved significantly in the country during the last ten years under the PM Modi-led government, he pointed out.

The CM maintained that Modi government has stopped corruption through Direct Benefit Transfer and digital transfer system.
