Kalahandi: A young couple allegedly took their own lives due to the societal pressure and lack of acceptance of their inter-caste relationship. This shocking incident took place at Kaudola village under Ampani police station in Kalahandi district.
The couple, identified as Nitesh Mund and a minor girl from a different caste, were said to be deeply in love. However, their relationship was not accepted by their families and society, leading to immense pressure on the couple.
According to reports, the couple was found hanging from a tree, tied with a gamucha. The police have started an investigation into the matter and are trying to determine the circumstances leading to the tragic incident.
