Puri: In a tragic incident, a young man and woman attempted to end their lives by hanging from the ceiling fans in their beachside hotel room in Odisha’s Puri. While the man was declared dead, the woman is struggling for her life in Puri Sadar Hospital.
According to reports, the staff of the hotel Goudbad Sahi found the couple hanging from ceiling fans in their room on Monday morning. The identity of the couple is yet to be ascertained.
The Sea Beach police have started an investigation into the incident and recovered a suicide note written in Bengali.
