Young Man Found Dead With Throat Slit In Sambalpur

Bhubaneswar: A young man was found dead with his throat slit near his home at Manapali village under Govindpur police station in Sambalpur district.

The deceased has been identified as Ashok Kujur, a resident of Ladrapada village.

According to reports, Ashok was working in Surat and had recently returned to his village. The assailants allegedly slit his throat with a sharp object and dumped his body near his home before fleeing the scene.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident and have seized the body for post-mortem examination. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.

Police are working to identify the perpetrators.
