Sundergarh: A youth died due to injuries inflicted after falling from the roof of a factory here on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Chamu Toppo of Podasing village under Rajgangpur police limits.
According to reports, Topso had barged into the factory in midnight to steal iron rods. When chased by the security guards, Topso slipped off the rooftop while attempting to escape.
He died on the spot. Local police rushed to the spot and registered a case of unnatural death. According to reports, after a factory was shut down here, several reports of theft and theft-attemps have surfaced in the locality.
