Keonjhar: In an unfortunate incident, a youth attacked his parents with an axe to death following a domestic dispute at Kalikaprasad Asari village under Champua police station in Keonjhar district on Sunday.
His father died on the spot while mother was seriously injured and admitted to Champua Health Centre. She also succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment
According to reports, accused Dhyan Munda had a quarrel with his mother Champiya and father Kalicharan Munda of the village. Irked, the son attacked the father and mother with an axe. Profusely bleeding his father died on the spot while mother sustained critical injuries.
On receiving the information, Champua police reached the spot and arrested the accused Dhyan Munda. Police also launched further investigation after registering a case.
