Rayagada: A youth lost his life allegedly due to a wrong treatment by a local quack at Sanachandili village under Chandili police limits here. The deceased Prasant Kaushalya, aged about 26 years had gone to the local quack for some health issue on Saturday.
He went to a clinic located at BC Road in Jejepur. It is operated by B Ananda Rao aka Nandu Babu. According to the family of Prasant, he was administered the wrong injection due to which he died. After returning home from the clinic, he vomited and died after a few minutes, they said.
The family of the deceased have filed a police complaint and demanded action against the quack who has been practising medicine in the region for several years.
