Bhawanipatna: In a bizzare incident, a youth were dragged by at least three wild bears in Badaghumar village of Dharamgarh block in Kalahandi district.
The victim has been identified as Bhodeb Gopal who sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at the Dharamgarh sub division hospital.
According to reports, the incident took place when Gopal was returning from the Ganesh Puja committee meeting to his home. Near the local M.E. School, the wild animals attacked and dragged him into the woods.
The wild bears which had come from the nearby Kumudi forest left Gopal in a critical state and fled into the jungle.
