Youth Ends Life By Jumping In Front Of Speeding Goods Train In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Monday recovered the body of a youth from the railway tracks on Duburi-Talcher railway line under Parjang police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old youth named Tukun Sahu, a resident of Dihdol village under Parjang police limits, in Dhenkanal district.

According to preliminary investigation, the youth ended his life by jumping in front of a speeding goods train in the early hours of Monday morning. Villagers in Dihdol informed the police that Tukun was suffering from depression due to poverty and failure to get employment.

On receiving the information, the GRP police reached the spot and seized the body and are investigating the incident.
