Cuttack: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth named Ashok Bhoi whose body was found in a pool of blood near his residence in Biswanathpur village under Jagatpur police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack.
The family members of the deceased have alleged that Ashok was murdered and his body was dumped near their house. They have demanded a thorough probe into the incident.
When Ashok’s body was spotted on Monday morning blood was oozing out of his head which raises suspicion that he was hit by a heavy object resulting in his death.
According to Ashok’s family members, the deceased had left for a nearby mutt this morning and did not return till his body was spotted near their house today. They claimed that the deceased did not have enmity with anyone and, hence, they are uncertain about the motive behind his mother.
On being informed, a team from Jagatpur police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. They have also initiated a probe into the matter.
