Kendrapara: A youth went missing after jumping into the Luna River from the bridge at Marshghai Karilopatna in Kendrapara district on Saturday.
On being informed Fire Service personnel have launched a search operation to rescue the missing youth.
According to reports, the missing youth has been identified as Sambit Sekhar Swain of Narilo village under Derabis block.
Eyewitnesses said that the youth who was around 30 years of age was sitting on the bridge railing and suddenly jumped into the river.
Search operation by the Fire Service personnel was underway till reports last came in.
