Berhampur: A youth has gone missing after being swept away in Rushikulya river while bathing near Sholaghar village in Purushottampur tehsil of Ganjam district today.
The missing youth has been identified as Sumit Mohanty.
According to reports, Sumit and his younger brother had gone to the river for a bath when they were swept away by the current in the river.
While Sumit remains missing while his younger brother was rescued by locals.
Fire Service personnel have launched a search and rescue operation. Purushottampur BDO was also present during the search operation.
