Rourkela: A youth sustained minor burn injury during Ravan Podi celebrations in Rourkela on Saturday.
The injured youth, identified as Rajesh Mahato from neighbouring Jharkhand, was hit by a spark from fireworks used during the event at Sector 13.
Rajesh was immediately rescued by police and ODRAF personnel present at the scene.
After receiving first aid, he was rushed to Ispat General Hospital (IGH), where his condition is reported to be stable.
