Bhubaneswar: A youth was killed and another sustained injuries after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Torani Pokhari under Ghatagaon police limits in Keonjhar district, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Baneswar Behera while the injured is Lambodar Behera.
Both of them were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital. As Baneswar’s condition worsened, he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital. However, he died on the way to the hospital near Anandpur.
Lambidhar is undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital in Keonjhar. Police have launched an investigation.
