Berhampur: A group of miscreants attacked and killed a youth in Kalamba village under Polasara police limits on Saturday night. The deceased was identified as Vikas Sahu. According to reports, the youth was murdered over past enmity.
The miscreants fled from the spot after murdering Sahu. Polasara police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the persons involved in the crime.
The body of Sahu was lying on the main road in the village for a long time before the police arrived and shifted it for autopsy. Sources said he was attacked with sharp weapons which inflicted deep wounds that led to Sahu’s death.
