Bhubaneswar: A youth was hacked to death by two of his friends following an altercation near the DCP office in Bhubaneswar late Tuesday night.
Reportedly, the deceased identified as Soumyaranjan was attacked by his friends Kabu Das and Pauni Das in an inebriated state over a land dispute.
Soumyaranjan was rescued by Saheed Nagar Police and admitted to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar where he breathed his last. Meanwhile, both the accused have been arrested.
