Nuapada: A biker and his son sustained critical bullet injuries after a youth fired at them following a spat over a trivial issue of parking a bike near Rabanna Chakk under Sinapali police limits in Nuapada district.
According to reports, one Raja Panigrahi had a spat with biker Saroj Meher and his son Nabaranjan Meher over the parking of their bike at Rabanna Chhak. Raja allegedly thrashed Saroj and his son and then fired shots at them leaving them critically injured.
Saroj and his son have been admitted to the Mission Hospital at Khariar and their condition is stated to be stable.
Accused Raja who had fled the spot after the incident has been arrested from Debhog police limits of neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
