Bhubaneswar: A youth was critically injured after being allegedly stabbed by another youth in Sailashree Vihar locality under Chandrasekharpur police limits of the city today.
According to reports, the stabbing was the fallout of a dispute over a triangular love affair.
Both the youths, who happen to be engineering students were in love with a girl and a dispute had developed over the issue.
The dispute turned violent today when one of the youths stabbed the other with a knife leaving him grievously hurt.
While the grievously hurt youth has been admitted to a hospital, the accused has been detained by the police.
