Keonjhar: Executive Officer of Barbil Municipality Abhisek Panda had a narrow escape on Monday as a youth who attempted to set him ablaze after dousing him with petrol was overpowered by municipal employees.
The accused identified as Abhisek Gupta has been detained by the police.
According to reports, Gupta was peeved over inaction by the municipal authorities in evicting shops over government land in front of his house.
