Youth’s Body Found Floating In Canal In Odisha’s Jajpur

Bhubaneswar: Locals spotted a youth’s body floating in a canal in the Binjharpur area of Odisha’s Jajpur district on Sunday morning. The body, tied with a rope to a tree on the bank of the canal, was found behind Kharasorta Mahavidalaya under Binjharpur police limits.

The deceased was identified as Priyaranjan Dhal of Olei village under Chandanpur panchayat of the district.

The villagers informed the Binjharpur police about the incident and subsequently, a team from the police station reached the spot. The police sent the body for post-mortem and launched an investigation into the incident.
