Youth’s Body Found In Balangir’s Bangomunda; Family Cries Foul

Bhubaneswar: The body of a young man was found floating in a pond at Bhalumunda village under Bangomunda police station limits in Balangir district.

The deceased has been identified as Keshari Bag, a resident of Turkela village.

According to reports, Keshari had gone missing on Thursday. On Friday morning, villagers spotted the body of Keshari floating in the pond and informed Bangomunda police and Kantabanji Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO).

Meanwhile, Keshari’s family has alleged foul play, prompting an investigation.

The body has been sent to Kantabanji hospital for an autopsy, and a forensic team is expected to arrive at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, with police working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
