Puri: The body of a youth with his throat slit was found in the Nimapada area of Odisha’s Puri district late Tuesday night. The police have also seized a motorcycle from the crime spot.
The deceased has been identified as Basudev Ojha alias Dipu, a resident of Siriapur village in the Pipli area of the district.
On being informed, Nimapada police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. A probe has also been launched to ascertain the reason behind the murder. According to preliminary reports, the crime is a fall-out of rivalry between drug dealers.
