Rairangpur: Both legs of a youth were crushed after he was runover by an iron ore loaded truck near Banadunguri under Bahalda police limits on National Highway no. 220 on Tuesday.
The injured youth has been identified as Subrat Kumar Mahanta (26).
Subrat was hit by the iron ore loaded truck while he was standing on the roadside.
While his legs were crushed by the truck, he was rushed to Rairangpur Sub Divisional Hospital through a 108 Ambulance by the locals. He has been shifted to the PRM Medical College & Hospital at Baripada as his condition deteriorated.
