**Balasore:** In a gruesome incident, private part of a youth was cut at a tribal locality in Talakurunia panchayat under Bahanaga block of Balasore district last night over previous enmity.
As per sources, the youth identified as Ajit (22) was returning from a nearby village when he heard of a clash between two families of his village and visited the spot.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, a former enemy of Ajit attacked him with a sharp weapon in which his private part was injured. Ajit also sustained a cut on his back.
Locals immediately rushed Ajit to Gopalpur Community Health Centre (CHC) and after receiving preliminary treatment he was shifted to Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). His condition is presently stated to be critical.
