Nabarangpur: A total of 30,000 students of over 100 schools in Nabarangpur district are to receive free coding education. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard has been signed between the district administration and codeversity.club.
The program has been launched under the supervision of Nabarangpur Collector Kamal Lochan Mishra and the initiative of Sub-Collector Sunil Agrawal. Class IX and X students of 183 schools in the district are to avail coding education.
Students can join the codeversity.club through an email account. A training program for teachers on how students can avail the training through computers, laptops, and mobile phones was held at the R.C.D Nodal High School in Nabarangpur on Saturday.
As the schools are closed now, the coding training will start one week after the schools reopen.
There are usually three main barriers for students to learning coding. The first is the language barrier, the second is the device barrier, and the third is the price barrier. The EdTech platform of codeversity.club is bridging the gaps by providing coding course in Vernacular languages and via Smartphones, and all of it at ZERO cost.
