ODRAF Havildar Rajesh Is A Beacon For Army Aspirants In Koraput

Koraput: Havildar Rajesh Sahu of Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF), Koraput is a promising teacher and trainer for the youth aspirants of the State who want to join the security forces.

Popularly known as Raju Sir, the ODRAF jawan working in OSAP 3rd Battalion, Koraput, has been providing free training to financially disadvantaged youth for entry into various armed and paramilitary forces.

Rajesh starts his classes after his duty hours. Without any infrastructure, he has been training the youth sometimes on the college grounds, sometimes on rural roads.

He had started an institution called Hum Fauji in 2017 and has trained a number of students since then. Over 20 of his students securing jobs after training can be counted as his success.

Rajesh hopes to see the youth of his area in the armed forces. As such training facilities are not available in the tribal-dominated districts, he has been a ray of hope for the aspirants.

As he had struggled a lot to get a job in the Odisha Police department, Rajesh wants that none other should face and suffer like him. In addition to providing physical and written training, he also provides financial help to his students to attend the interviews.

Rajesh has earned praises from all corners for his selfless service. He is carving the future of youth through his efforts. With his encouragement, youth who are stranded in the local area are getting proper guidance.
