In the midst of an ongoing deadlock between the private bus operators and the State Government, the former has finally agreed to operate passenger buses in Odisha.
Transport Minister Padmanabha Behera is hopeful that private buses will very soon ply in the State following his fairly successful talks with office bearers of the Odisha Private Bus Owners' Association (OPBOA) today.
The Private Bus Owners’ Association called for a 24-hour strike today in Bargarh and kept the buses non-operational, protesting the alleged illegal construction of a new bus terminal-cum-market complex in the district.
