Bhubaneswar: In view of the fast approaching very severe cyclonic storm FANI and as it is predicted to have its landfall between 8 am and 10 am tomorrow, Odisha Chief Minister today appealed all to remain indoors and all business establishments as well as shops to remain closed for safety measures.
Besides reviewing the situation from time to time at the State Secretariat since yesterday, the Chief Minister took stock of the situation at the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC)’s office here today evening.
Soon after reviewing the preparedness in person, the Odisha Chief Minister told media, “All precautions have been taken to tackle cyclone Fani. People are being evacuated, food packets readied and etc, etc.”
“I appeal to everyone to remain indoors for tomorrow. All business establishments and other shops reamin closed,” the CM exhorted.
