**Bhubaneswar: ** As Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik attained blissful 72nd spring of his life on Monday (October 16), his residence Naveen Niwas here chymed with the happy birthday rhyme apart from good wishes, greetings and bouquets bearing the token of hearty well-being showered on him by one and all.
A long beeline of well-wishers and fans from all walks of life thronged the regional satrap-cum-BJD supremo’s cosy nook beside the Biju Patnaik International Airport here in the State capital city on Monday morning.
Not only his party and ministerial colleagues, but also Odisha Police bigshots, including DGP R.P. Sharma and general public showered their cordial birthday wishes which was humbly reciprocated by the smiling and pleasing personality.
In response to the love and affection showered on him, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, “I owe all for having given me their blessings on my birthday and I’ll continue to work hard for the development and the welfare of the people of our State.”
BJD Mahila Morcha president Pramilla Mallick said, “Today we greeted hon’ble Chief Minister on his birthday. Pray Lord Jagannath to bless Naveen Babu with a long life so that he carries on rendering his service to the people of Odisha for good.”
Odisha Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera said, “Today is my dear Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 72nd birthday amid his life dedicated to the service of people following which one and all in Odisha is celebrating it with rejoice and fondness as well as conveying their hearty greetings and good wishes. This goodwill gesture will enable him to keep on pacing up his selfless service to the people of Odisha.”
Former minister and senior BJD MLA Pradeep Panigrahi said, “On this august occasion, feeling elated at the way people in large number from all walks of life, apart from our party workers, have assembled here to wish their dear Chief Minister birthday greetings. May Lord Jagannath bless him! Whatever achievements we have made in Odisha today under his leadrship, we all feel proud of. Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena said, “Today we all pray Lord Jagannath to bless our hon’ble Chief Minister with a healthy long life and successful stint further. Later in the day, the Chief Minister thanked one and all for their heartfelt birthday wishes and blessings.
