Road Mishap At Jeypore Left Three Dead & Four Injured

Jeypore: Three persons were killed and four others sustained injuries when two bikes had a head-on collision at Gaganapur under Jeypore Sadar Police limits in Koraput district late Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as residents of Dhanpur and Sanpindapadar.

The injured are undergoing treatment at District Headquarters Hospital.

The were accident took place when all of them returning home after watching jatra. Drivers and pillion riders were thrown off the bikes due to the collision.

Upon being informed, Jeypore Sadar Police rescued the injured and rushed them to the hospital. Also, police sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem,

Meanwhile, police seized the bikes and started an investigation into the matter.
