**Mosco: ** In a major breakthrough, a 17-year-old girl suspected of masterminding the ‘Blue Whale Challenge’ suicide game have been arrested by the Russian Police, as per international media reports.
While the identity of the nabbed teenager has not been revealed, the arrest has been reported to be from Khabarovsk Krai region in south-eastern Russia.
The Russian police believe that she is the prime administrator who allegedly encouraged teenagers via social media to commit a variety of gruesome acts in a 50-day span and blackmailed the vulnerable teens into resorting to the drastic step of taking their own lives.
As per the international media reports, the Russian Police have released footage of their officers raiding the suspect’s home in Kamchatka and reportedly found corroborative evidence of her links with the ghastly online game.
