Tel Aviv: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Monday it has handed over 1,29,000 winter jackets and 3,69,000 small disposable warm bags to the troops stationed in Gaza.
In a statement, the IDF said it has geared up for the fight during the winter.
With no real end set for the invasion, it was being said that the IDF would have to struggle during the winter period.
However, IDF officers told mediapersons that supplies were sent to the troops properly.
As per the estimates of IDF, as the ground invasion into Gaza commenced on October 27, the fight could continue till December, which means that it would be heavy winter by then.
