Bhubaneswar: Nato secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg says Russia may use chemical weapons following its invasion of Ukraine and that such a move would be a war crime. He told a German newspaper that Russia could manipulate false claims of possible western deployment of such weapons as a pretext for its own use of them.
On the other hand, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will host leaders from countries along Russia’s northwestern flank next week to discuss ways they can respond to President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, including finding new ways to isolate Russia’s economy, reports stated.
