Kiev: Six people have been killed in Russian shelling in Ukraine’s Torestsk city on Monday.
In the Russian shelling since morning, a two-storey building was destroyed leading to the death of six people, Ukraisnka Pravda reported.
“Since this morning, the city of Toretsk has been shelled; a two-storey building with people inside was destroyed,” State Emergency Services said.
“During search and rescue operations, employees of the Rescue Service recovered the bodies of five people. Three people were rescued from the rubble, while one of them died in hospital.”
Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
