**London:** Liquor baron Vijay Mallya, who is wanted in India for defaulting on loans worth Rs 9,000 crore, was released on bail soon after his arrest under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act in London.
This is for the second time he has been released on bail soon after his arrest.
Earlier in April 19 this year, he had been arrested and created a ripple, but he had been released on bail soon after he was produced before the court in London.
Notably, Mallya has repeatedly refused to appear before courts and investigators in India since he secretly fled to Britain in March, 2016, after defaulting on loan payments to state-owned banks and allegedly misusing the funds.
