Watch Video: Netherlands PM Cleaning His Spilled Coffee With A Mop

**Bhubaneswar:** Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of Netherlands accidentally dropped a cup of coffee on the floor of Dutch Parliament. What he did next was lauded worldwide and went viral on social media. Though people all across India talk about Modi’s pet project Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, we can’t even imagine any Indian politician doing it.

In the 34-second clip, he is seen moving towards the parliament in The Hague on Monday with a bunch of files in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other, which he accidentally drops while walking.

He immediately looks around for a mop and starts cleaning the mess he created.
As the head of a major European government mopped the mess, the building’s uniformed cleaning staff stood next to him and clapped and cheered. One of them even came forward to adjust the length of the mop.

This act of the Dutch PM has taken the hearts of the netizens. Twitterati has lauded his act and questioned the veracity Indian politicians regarding the cleanliness drive.

It is worth mentioning that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was helped by his security men to cross a waterlogged stretch during his visit to a flood-affected area in 2016.

Similarly, Manas Madkami, MLA from Malkangiri caught the headlines for the wrong reason as he was seen carried by some supporters to avoid a muddy stretch and keep his sparklingly white shoes clean and dry in 2017
