Bhubaneswar: As many as 91.76% of the daily count of Covid-19 cases in the city are local contact cases.
As many as 568 out of the total 619 new Covid-19 cases detected in the city in the last 24 hours (till 9 AM of Jan 10) are local contact cases according to data shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). The remaining 51 cases are quarantine cases.
The city has 3,325 active cases of Covid-19 and the cumulative total of Covid cases in the city reached 1,27,266.
A total of 117 persons have recovered from Covid-19 in the city during the last 24 hours taking the total number of recoveries to 1,22,817.
No new fatalities have been reported/confirmed from the city, the cumulative total of fatalities due to Covid stood at 1103.
