Three Critical After LPG Cylinder Explosion In Rayagada

Rayagada: Three persons sustained critical injuries after an LPG cylinder exploded in a house near Raniguda Farm on Hatipatha Road in Odisha’s Rayagada district on Friday morning.

The victims have been identified as D Siva, Dharma Miniyaka and Din Miniyaka.

According to reports, the victims were residing in a rented house near Raniguda Farm. On Friday morning, when one of the victims lit the gas oven the LPG cylinder exploded and the house was engulfed by fire. Gas leakage from the LPG cylinder is said to have caused the fire and explosion.

Initially, the victims were rushed to Rayagada District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) and later two of them were shifted to Berhampur and one to Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh after their condition deteriorated.
