Bhubaneswar: Another person succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha on Wednesday. According to the information shared by the Health and Family Welfare Department, the death of a 69-year-old woman in Bhubaneswar has been confirmed as COVID death.
With this, the State’s COVID-19 death toll rose to 9,103 with Khurda reporting the maximum 1,748 fatalities. As many as 53 persons who were suffering from COVID died due to other reasons.
The woman who succumbed to COVID in Capital City was suffering from comorbidity like Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, the Health Deparment stated.
