Jajpur: The mother of Pihu, a baby girl who went missing on August 9, 2020, has appealed to President Ram Nath Kovind for Euthanasia. The woman, Monalisa presented a memorandum to the Additional Collector Mihir Prasad Mohanty seeking Euthanasia.
“My daughter has been missing since 20 months. There is no trace of her, I am crestfallen. The case needs to be investigated by the CBI, else allow me to end my life,” she said. Pihu went missing from Madhusudhanpur village under Binjharpur police limits in August, 2020.
In the past, Monalisa has run from pillar to post, in a bid to find her daughter, but all efforts failed. With no options left, the woman has now appealed for euthanasia, because, “I have no reasons to live, in the absence of my baby,” she said.
