Koraput: A cinema hall running without a valid license was fined Rs 94,000 here on Tuesday. The fine was imposed on Galaxy cinema hall in Similiguda for violation of license renewal. According to the enforcement authorities, the establishment was running without getting the license renewed since 2019.
A team led by Koraput Sub-Collector and local SDPO conducted a raid on the premises and sealed the hall. Sub Collector Lalit Kuanr said that the cinema hall was served several notices prior to the action.
