Berhampur: A Tahsildar and Excise department staff were attacked by villagers during a raid against the illegal liquor trade at Budighati village under Jarada police limits of Ganjam district on Saturday.
Patrapur Tahsildar Amit Kumar Nayak and two others have been injured in the attack. They were rescued by police and admitted to Surangi Primary Health Centre. The villagers have detained three government vehicles.
